Paul Walker, the lead actor of the “Fast & Furious” movie series, died on November 30, 2013, at just 40 years old, when a red Porsche Carrera GT, driven by his friend Roger Rodas (1975-2013), crashed into a light pole and two trees in Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles.

Today, September 12th, action star Paul Walker (1973-2013) would have turned 50.

Rodas was likely traveling at a speed between 130 and 150 kilometers per hour – at 72 kilometers per hour. Besides excessive speed, old tires might also have played a role in the fatal accident that cost the lives of Rodas and Walker.

Walker was probably trapped in the burning car for some time and ultimately died from burns sustained during that period.
